Tarangire National Park is located 2 hours drive from Arusha town in Tanzania. The Tarangire ecosystem is composed of many granite hills, swamps and river valleys of which the Tarangire cuts across the park.
What to See
The park is home to large herds of Elephants and Baobab trees. Other residents wildlife grazers inhabits here include; Wildebeests, Cape Buffaloes, Waterbucks, Dikdik, Elands, banded Mongoose, Grants Gazelles, Baboons and Giraffes. Predators include; Leopard, Honey badgers, Wild dogs, Caracal and Lions.
