Mt Kenya at 5,199m above sea level is the second highest mountain in African continent after Kilimanjaro. Now with the newly paved roads through the mountain forest along all the main entrances to first camps, Mt Kenya is now accessible fastest in a duration of 3 days 2 nights to point Lenana and back. Though this being the case, DO NOT under estimate its high altitude risks!
This program is suitable for everyone who is limited of time, marathoners, or a personal physical challenge but not ideal to less fit, first time hikers or technical climbers. Below its a sample of the itinerary ascending via Sirimon route and down the same starting from Nairobi.
