Itinerary

Day 1 : Nairobi Hotel - Masai Mara

On an early morning , you’ll be met by our Spiky Tours driver guide at the airport. He will give you a debelif of the safari and minutes later your Kenya and Tanzania safari kicks off with a start to the world famous Masai Mara. Arrive in your camp/lodge in time for lunch. Later in the day take an exclusive game drives enjoying sundowner in the evening.

Meals; Lunch and dinner.

Transit time; 5 hours.

DAY 2:Full Day Masai Mara

Spend this day viewing and searching the Big Five animals namely: Lions, African Buffalo, Leopards, Rhinos and African Elephant among other wildlife. Also hot air balloons can be organized for you at an extra cost. You will be provided with a picnic lunch along the Mara river and a bottle of water to keep you going for the day.

One of world’s biggest wildlife movement drama happens here annually, the migration of wildebeests and zebras.

Optional balloon ride at an extra cost.

Day 3:Masai Mara - Lake Nakuru

After breakfast leave the camp and depart for lake Nakuru passing by a Masai village for their traditional cultural practices. Hot Lunch is served en-route at Narok town. Magnificent views of Mt Longonot and Lake Naivasha are visible at a distance while en-route. Lake Nakuru gives you a chance of viewing hundreds of species of birds inclusive of the flamingos and the pelicans. It’s also a rhino sanctuary and Giraffes.

Transit time; 5 hours.

Day 4; Full Day Lake Nakuru

Leave your hotel/Lodge/camp early in the morning and drive towards Lake Nakuru, check in park and start your game viewing. Famously Lake Nakuru attracts vast numbers of fabulously colored pink flamingos among other wildlife such as Hippo, white and black rhinos, giraffe, lion, buffaloes, leopards and a profusion of many species of birds are also present at the lake. Later in the day proceed to Nairobi hotel for dinner and overnight ahead of tomorrow’s Kenya – Tanzania transit.

Day 5; Nairobi Hotel - Arusha Hotel

After breakfast, a Kenya transit bus will pick you up at 8am driving for 5-6 hours arriving in Arusha hotel in the mid afternoon. Expect crossing the Kenya -Tanzania boarder whereby the transit formalities are checked including visas. Lunch will have been packed for you from the Nairobi hotel.

Day 6; Arusha - Tarangire National Park

On an early morning at 6;30 am you’ll be met by our safari driver guide at your hotel. He will give you a debelif of the safari and minutes later your Tanzania safari kicks off with a start to the world famous Tarangire national park for it’s many population of elephants. Arrive at Kizumba camp/similar for lunch or otherwise lunch will be packed for you to ensure no time lost but going straight to wildlife viewing.

This park with its endless grasslands, huge baobab trees, the perennial Tarangire River and seasonal swamps is home to the largest elephant herds in northern Tanzania. Other residents wildlife grazers inhabits here include; Wildebeests, Cape Buffaloes, Waterbucks, Dikdik, Elands, banded Mongoose, Grants Gazelles, Baboons and Giraffes. Predators include; Leopard, Honey badgers, Wild dogs, Caracal and Lions

Later in the day take an exclusive game drives enjoying sundowner in the evening.

Day 7; Serengeti National Park Full Day

On an early morning, depart for Serengeti and Spend this day with full-day game drives in search of the big five, wildebeest migration and many other wildlife that inhabits this endless wilderness. Picnic lunches will be provided to ensure full time game drives.

Optional Hot air balloon & guided nature walks available at own extra cost.

Meal plan; Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner at Seronera Camp/ similar.

Day 8; Serengeti –Ngorongoro National Park

Spend the whole morning and mid afternoon in Serengeti and later in the afternoon leave for Ngorongoro crater Simba camp.

Approximate Transit Time: 3 Hour drive

Day 9; Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Take a morning coffee and head out in search for wildlife in this world wonder Conservation Area. This natural wonder of Africa protects the Olduvai Gorge considered to be the earliest discovery of human genus specimens known, Homo habilis as well as Paranthropus boisei. Ngorongoro conservation area is a mult-use and very unique area as it is the only place that protects wildlife while allowing human habitation.

The park is home to a total of approximate 25,000 large and small different wildlife which includes; Black Rhinoceros, African cape Buffaloes, Hippos, blue Wildebeests, Leopards, Cheetahs, Lions, Flamingos among many others. From the exhilarating wildlife to the panoramic views, Ngorongoro crater is a haven for tourists attraction destination.

Approximate Transit Time: 3 Hour drive

Day 10;Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha Hotel

After breakfast, make a morning game drive around the park in search of canivores stalking their breakfast. Later in the mid afternoon proceed out of the park to Arusha Charity hotel arriving in the evening for overnight.

Day 11; Arusha Hotel - Zanzibar/Nairobi or Onward Destinations

On this day, take a flight back to Nairobi or to the famous magical archipelago in the indian ocean, the ancient island of Zanzibar.
