Itinerary

Day 1:Nairobi - Lamu Island

Our Spiky Tours representative will pick you from your hotel to Wilson airport. A 2 hour flight to Manda Island followed by a boat ride to Lamu Island. Lamu old town is made of stone buildings with impressive curved doors, narrow winding streets influenced by Persian and Arabic styles. Along its coastline is characterized with stunning dunes and endless sandy beaches with a backdrop of lantern sailing dhows. This unique Swahili town has no roads for vehicles with streets broad enough only to allow camels and donkeys. Lunch at Peponi Hotel and afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Jambo House hotel or similar.

Day 2:Day 2; Full Day Lamu Island

After breakfast in your hotel, its time to explore and enjoy this idyllic melting pot. Most of its common and must do activities includes; exploration of old Swahili settlements, dhow sailing, beach strolls, shopping, sunset gaze at Manda island among many fascinating aquatic activities.
Seafood lunch at your hotel and spend the afternoon relaxing. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Day 3: Lamu Island - Nairobi

Right after breakfast, board a boat ride to Manda Island for your return flight to Nairobi. Once in Nairobi, you will be transferred to your hotel or onward destination.
