3 Days Samburu National Reserve Safari

This park is rich in colourful local Samburu people and abundant wildlife such as Leopard, Lions, Elephants, Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy Zebras and Crocodiles in the Ewaso Nyiro river. There is also over 360 birds species have been identified. Samburu safari can be combined with most other safaris such as Mt Kenya hiking, Masai Mara, Olpejeta safaris among others. A 3 days itinerary starts from Nairobi and ends in Nairobi.

Itinerary

Day 1:NAIROBI – SAMBURU GAME RESERVE

Depart Nairobi hotel at 7am and drive along the great North road passing the Kenya central Highlands to plain lands arriving Samburu lodge or similar for lunch. Later in the day experience an evening game drive and return to your camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2:FULL DAY SAMBURU

Leave your camp after an early breakfast for a half day game viewing returning back later for lunch. In the evening you too head out for game viewing before sundown. Dinner and overnight at your camp.

Day 3:SAMBURU – NAIROBI

Start with an early morning game drive and return to the camp for breakfast. Check out the park at around 9am passing through a Samburu community village for a cultural ceremony. Commence with your journey to Nairobi making a stop over for lunch mostly at Trout Tree restaurant at own cost.
