4 Days Mount Kenya Trekking: Sirimon Route

This route is on the drier side of the mountain which offers some of the finest and easy walking. The route starts on the northwest side of the mountain near Nanyuki town. Access is adequate and the sleeping huts are good although there is tents option also. One hikes up this route to the summit and back the same route in 4 days 3 nights. This program I will not recommend to people who has less high altitude hiking experience, old or to very young children as no enough time for acclimatization. Here is a sample of itinerary Starting from Nairobi and back.
